Synopsis
During the reconstruction of Germany, devested by the second world war, a cynical capitain and a butch interpreter are against their wishes sent off to together on a delicate mission. These two headstrong personalities, not ready to love each other finish by marrying. But the captain does not have the right to follow his wife, so he passes himself off as her wife. Travestites and questions of virilty are just the appetiser. A comic take on the genre. Cary Grant and Anne Sheridan at their best in a funny and inpertanent comedy.
