Adar, an androgynous girl on the cusp of puberty, lives with her often absent mother and step-father. The latter addresses her in the masculine, has nicknamed her Prince, and is very close to her. Maybe a bit too close. This is when she meets Alan, a boy strangely similar to her, almost like a male doppelgänger, with whom she connects. Real or imaginary, he is immediately adopted by the family. But his presence will unveil the sombre truth at the heart of this fascinating and surprising film that skilfully plays with gender.
