The first full-length film from South Korean director July Jung, « A Girl at my Door » is about the fascination that Young-Nam, a police inspector, has for Do-Hee, a girl she helps. Recently transferred to an isolated village, Young-nam has to face not only the misogyny of some and the judgments of others, but also the ghosts of her past relations. She becomes involved in a shady relationship with Do-Hee where she does not realise all that is at stake nor all the risks.
