Deep in the Basque Country, a celibate farmer called Ander is forced to hire a seasonal worker following his accident. The handsome, young Peruvian provokes unexpected and distressing feelings in the farmer. This rural tale of passion and feeling, is a moving film that resembles Brokeback Mountain, without jumping onto the bandwagon or falling into the trap of sensationalism. Powerful and intense, this first full length feature film shows great promise from a young director.
