Tilda Swinton, the muse of queer film director, Derek Jarman, worked with Isaac Julien, the Director of Looking For Langston (Pink Screens 2004), to offer us a sublime hommage to this talented activist, decorator, writer, gardener and film director, who died of AIDS in 1994. Through an intelligent and poetic collage of home movies, film clips and interviews, the two artists create an original and audacious portrayal of a brilliant and beautiful man.
