Synopsis

In a seaside town, a young woman takes care of her seriously ill father and her adolescent brother, who she tries to protect from the homophobic jeers he faces at school. For many months now, she has not been paid her wages and she finds it impossible to make ends meet. She tries to leave, but in vain. When she finds 'Antigone' by Sophocles in her brother's bag, its a revelation. She sees herself in the heroine of this tragedy that evokes a multitude of emotions in her. A fascinating queer reinterpretation, between fantasy and (social) realism, of a timeless piece of literature.
