On the Japanese island of Hokkaido, Takuya is looking for himself, knee-high, solitary and awkward, stammering and wavering, amazed by a snowflake, by nothing. Searching for a winter sport that suits him, one that he finally feels good at, not like baseball or hockey. So figure skating becomes his sport, which he practices with the beautiful Sakura under the watchful eye of coach Arakawa, a former champion of the discipline who, with his partner, has chosen to withdraw far from the world that judges and denigrates homosexuality...
