Angeni, a young female track star, who dreams of becoming the fastest runner in the world, is forced to undergo the sex verification test due to her ultra masculine appearance and exceptional performance. Tormented by the medical scrutiny, in which she is made to believe her body is abnormal, Angeni’s sense of self is undermined, and her athletic dream is shattered by a social institution in need of classifying.
