Synopsis
In the Philippines of the mid-90’s, Billie, a young, butch girl from the big city is sent to live with her austere and spinster aunt, a religion teacher. Determined to get through the last year at her catholic high-school without incident, Billie hides her homosexuality. She hangs out with Emma, the star student, but Emma is pregnant. Then they fall in love and inevitably things get complicated in a traditonalist country where abortion is illegal. The two young girls will have to face life with little to no support, finding unexpected allies on their way.
