Una banda de chicas

A peek behind the scenes of nightlife alongside a few underground Argentinian Girl bands. From behind her camera, the director - a former bass player from the electro pop band Yilet - follows several groups of cis and trans women, some of which are lesbians and some of which are straight. The documentary serves to highlight their common experience of what is still a highly sexist environment. A road movie with a wacky energy that calls out the obstacles these women encounter in their professional career as well as the violence they are faced with, whilst pointing to their fight for equality.
