Synopsis
Exploring the intersection of gender identity and geek culture, Transgeek depicts individuals active in science, technology, gaming, science fiction/fantasy, and other geekish pursuits. While tapping into geek culture – in the broad sense of the word – from Dungeons and Dragons to video games, fan fiction and cinema, these people find a way to express their authentic selves, and break away from gender norms. This film is perfect for queer geeks, feminists, geeks, and friends!
As an added bonus, queer video games are found in the Nova Bar.
