Synopsis
Lonely and quiet Marko is at agriculture college to become a farmer. Jakob, who follows the same course is light-hearted and somewhat provocative. Having noticed Marko he tries to get to know him. An ambiguous attraction starts and a stolen kiss in a barn turns Marko ?s world on its head. Only after a trip to town can the boys be honest with themselves and express their love for one another. Played by two excellent actors who are convincingly supported by amateurs in the other roles, Stadt, Land, Fluss is a realistic love story bathed in summer sunlight.
