Broken hearted after her girlfriend leaves her, Julianna moves to the seaside with her best friend Hugo, who is mourning the death of his gay partner. Joined by the pregnant and single Lisa, they form an unlikely trio as they go about rebuilding their lives. Very soon, anger, bitterness and sadness fade away to give space to the possibilities of love.
