Auf der Suche (Looking for Simon)

Simon, a young German doctor living in Marseille, disappears leaving his apartment deserted. Valerie, his mother, with whom he has a difficult relationship, is desperate. She calls on an ex boyfriend of Simon to help look for him. In the style of a thriller, Jan Krüger (Rückenwind, Pink Screens 2009) takes the couple on the dangerous roads to self-discovery, signing an atmospheric film in Marseille which is both disturbing and sensual.
