Synopsis
Julia, few weeks pregnant, finds two dead men at her appartment, one of them being the father of her child. Unable to recall how those murders occured, she is jailed in an Argentinian prison for pregnant women and mothers. Leonera is a fascinating exploration of a feminine world, but at the opposite of the cinematic genre of « women in prison ». Two characters will interact with Julia : her own mother, who wants to get custody of her grand-child, and Marta, convicted like her, who will be her guide and protector, but also much more...
