Nothing Else Matters (Was am ende zählt)

Carla runs away from home to attend a fashion design school in Lyon, but all her possessions are stolen at the station. She meets Rico who offers her a job on his construction site and a place to stay in exchange for certain favours. Whilst there, she meets Lucie and her brother who invite her to squat with them on a boat turned bar. The dreams and hardships of these two girls, both attracted by the opposites they see each in other, paints a picture of female marginalisation with a sweet and intelligent touch. When Carla discovers she is pregnant, they decide to face the situation together by making a pact which will allow Lucie to keep Carla close to her, at least for a little while longer...
