Synopsis
Perry, a gay black student, find himself on the street the day his father catches him in bed with his lover. Lost between two communities he finds it hard to reconcile his choices. His meeting with homeless Bruce Nugent marks a turning point in his life. Father of afro-gay American literature during the celebrate “Harlem Renaissance” of the thirties, Bruce recounts his life to Perry....
