Christopher Smets is the (co)founder of the 'Luna' and 'La boîte d'images'. Born in 1972, he graduated from the Saint-Luc Institute in Liège, Belgium. With a passion for committed journalism and photography, he also loves traveling. This series of pictures depict women practicing Thai-boxing in the outskirts of Bangkok. Working class teenagers work out with the hope of one day escaping their life of misery. In Thailand, however, women still remain banned from the ring. Their presence, according to tradition, weakens the strength and agility of the fighters who follow them in the ring...
