Special L-Week : FILM + GUEULANTE

{{FILM}} _ 19 :00 _ {{No woman's Land}} _ watch the film together with its director, Anne Smolar 52 min - FR/EN - Subtitled FR/EN Why does someone live in another country? Is it a flight or a desire for something else? Voluntary exile or obligation? How do these deported Dorothy's survive and feel about their new land of Oz? Whilst experiences and motives may differ, these real life stories can act as mirrors and form part of the identity creation of these women. Furthermore, homosexuality can also find its place. Exile as a transformative experience begs the question of how do we construct our own identity... {{GUEULANTE}} _ 20:00 _ {{«Homo washes whiter than white! Or how to (de)integrate multicoloured lesbians...»}} Do lesbians from all countries and of all colours want the same kind of life? Do lesbians exiled in Europe necessarily integrate? Or are they inevitably de-integrated, acculturated? If the LGBTi community accepts (for better or for worse) the largest possible spectrum of answers to questions of gender and sexuality, up until what point are we willing to accept and welcome different cultures or religious beliefs and their social implications? For example, is a religious, practising lesbian who is 'submissive' in 'her' inferior role as a woman, a bad lesbian? And on the contrary, is a “good” lesbian necessarily an liberated women? And liberated from what? From who? Faced with these questions, doesn't our western way of thinking trap us in a single and unique form of reply? The debate will be held in French. {{Free}}
