Whilst experiences and motives may differ, these real life stories can act as mirrors and form part of the identity creation of these women. Furthermore, homosexuality can also find its place. Or are they inevitably de-integrated, acculturated? If the LGBTi community accepts (for better or for worse) the largest possible spectrum of answers to questions of gender and sexuality, up until what point are we willing to accept and welcome different cultures or religious beliefs and their social implications? For example, is a religious, practising lesbian who is 'submissive' in 'her' inferior role as a woman, a bad lesbian? And on the contrary, is a “good” lesbian necessarily an liberated women? And liberated from what? From who? Faced with these questions, doesn't our western way of thinking trap us in a single and unique form of reply? The debate will be held in French. {{Free}}
