Passion

With Passion, Maja Borg delivers a very personal film about regret, healing and submission at the intersection of BDSM and Christianity. In doing so, she theatrically confronts her traumas and explores and accepts the dark side of her own desires. Following the trajectory of queer, gay and lesbian BDSM practitioners in Berlin, Stockholm and Barcelona, the film portrays humanity through extreme acts laced with similarities to the Christian Passion: an agony but also a trajectory of redemption, both emotionally and spiritually.
