{{REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IMAGE OF THE PINK SCREENS FILM FESTIVAL}}
The image should clearly:
_ ? portrait the alternative/underground/brash aspect of the festival. Bold, impertinent and fierce,
_ ? Iidentify with the question of « gender » (festival of sexuality and gender differences): from feminism to 'alternative' sexualities as well as the queer and transgender imageries,
_ ? predominantly use the identifying colours of the festival: bright yellow and flashy pink galore!
_ ? go beyond the strictly gay and lesbian aspects, with an iconography which speaks to both men and women,
_ ? make reference to the silver screen.
{{OTHER SELECTION CRITERIA:}}
_ ? Reflect the openness of the festival to transsexuals, inter-sex, open genders, etc.
{{USE AND FORMATS:}}
_ ? The image will be used 'as-is' in the poster of the festival (format A2 and large format as used in bus-shelters). It will also be used on the front page of the catalogue, format A5 ('as-is' or re-dimensioned).
_ ? It should also be resizeable to be used in the posters and flyers of the closing night party (Pink Night) + web version.
_ ? Allow for generous borders and margins to fit ALL formats.
_ ? If the image is based upon a photo > the original should be in VERY high resolution (the best resolution possible)
_ ? If the work is purely graphic > a vectorial image is preferable to a bitmap image in order to allow for enlargement with minimum pixalisation.
_ ? Respect the colours > in CMJN > our yellow: 0/0/F/0 + our pink: 0/F/0/0
